This is a very rare and unique car. The car was built by Russell E. Gardner between Feb and July 1925 for 5 months only. Also known as "The Brougham", it is believed that there are no more than 2 or 3 of this model remaining. It is powered by a Lycoming Straight Eight (model 2H) 4.5 litre engine. The bodywork is Limited Edition Town Coupe coachwork. The car is in very good condition and is currently used for weddings. The car has been cherished by its current and previous owners.

Site Admin note: This body style along with the special touring were Gardner's first entries into the eight-in-line market.
The new models were promoted at the New York and Chicago auto show in January with two early prototypes, but production did not get under way until mid to late February. Only 500 8A cars of all body styles were built for 1925 and the 2-door brougham was dropped in favor of the 4-door model for 1926. Making this model one of the rarest of all Gardners.
